I have such respect for those who have guided me as a professional, specifically those who have taught me what it takes to be an educator and those who have given me the opportunity and space to hone and develop that skill.
We hold so much responsibility when we lead a room of young, impressionable, passionate, vulnerable and resilient young dancers, specifically in regards to the language we choose to use and the specificity in which we guide them in their growth. I’ve fallen in love with learning again through the early stages of becoming an educator and I am so very grateful for the journey."
